AGE CONCERN

I am leading on the new Community Responders project in Northamptonshire.

We are working in partnership with other voluntary community organisations to support the NHS 2 hour response provision while enhancing the value of existing countywide befriending volunteers.

This service is looking to expand on the number of committed volunteers who are currently engaged with local organisations. Their unique experience will enable us to deliver a tailored response to support local elderly people in their own home offering reassurance and comfort to those who do not have local support available while they await community support to arrive or to be a local friendly face during their time of need.

If you feel it would be appropriate and applicable to advertise this opportunity on our behalf which may be of interest to any existing volunteers and parish council members in the local and surrounding area please see attached information for circulation.
